Visa & Permit


Your visa to Bhutan is arranged by our dedicated team. The passport with a minimum of 6 months validity is a mandatory to process your visa to Bhutan. All other tourists must obtain a visa clearance prior the travels to Bhutan. Visas are processed through an online system by your licensed Bhutanese tour operator directly or through a foreign travel agent. The required document is Passport with clear pictures and other details.

The visa will be processed by us through Tourism Council of Bhutan (TCB) once the full payment of your holiday (including a USD $40 visa fee) has been received. The visa process will take minimum 3 business day. At your point of entry you will be required to show your visa clearance letter, the visa will then be stamped into your passport.  

Regional tourists: India, Bangladesh and Maldives are considered as regional tourist by the government of Bhutan. All regional tourists can visit Bhutan with or without passport, or some valid document like voter card.  Visitor can travel by air or road through India-Bhutan border and obtain route permit to travel Bhutan.
